The films originally premiered alongside immersive movement surrounding the audience and live performances by tbd. For this event, we will reimagine these live performances in conversation with the films in a site specific manner unique to the Alan J. Levine Performing Arts Theater at the JCC.

 THE FILMS

Written + Directed by Nik Fackler

Cinematography by Ben Drickey

Original Music by Graham Patrick Ulicny

Choreography by tbd. dance collective

Presented by KANEKO as part of the Movement Series between the years of 2016 and 2021.

So many hands went into the making of these films, from lighting, production, sound design, and color correction, to moshing extras, dancers wearing wetsuits in frigid ponds, and the incredible generosity of all of the stunning locations we filmed at throughout the years. We are so honored to have the opportunity to screen the films again and share them with our community!
